Mrs. Jill Brunette
As a Spanish teacher at John Glenn High School, I am excited about this opportunity to work with students at BTVS. I started my teaching career in Guadalajara, Mexico while teaching English as a second language and then spent the last 12 years teaching Spanish here in Michigan. I love to travel and have devoted many years to exploring cultures and improving my proficiency in Spanish with experiences in Perú, Spain, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico. In addition to personal exploration, I have led several student European tours through Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy. As a graduate from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish (Go green!) and a Master of Arts degree in Spanish from Central Michigan University (Go Chips!) I’ve developed an appreciation for all things Spanish! In my free time I enjoy camping in Michigan with my wonderful husband Matt and my two beautiful children Jonah (5) and Emma (4).
