Mrs. Jennifer Kipfmiller
I am very excited to embark on this new journey with BTVS. As a veteran teacher of Bangor Township Schools, where I have worked for the past 16 years teaching English at John Glenn High School, I look forward to continuing as a life-long learner now as an online instructor. I began my teaching career as a non-traditional student at Saginaw Valley State University. Graduating in 2001, I took a position at Bangor’s alternative school. After the school closed in 2002, I took a position at John Glenn. In 2005, I earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership. While at Glenn, I have taught speech, grammar and composition, American Literature, British Literature, World Literature and basic literary analysis. I have been a National Honor Society co-advisor for the past 12 years. While teaching is my passion, I also enjoy reading and traveling. Born in New Hampshire, I have lived up and down the east coast from Newfoundland, Canada to Fort Myers, Florida. I have traveled to Europe twice with students from John Glenn and will be returning to Italy in the summer of 2018. I also love kayaking with my husband of 26 years, Jay, and my daughters, Kirstie (27) and Kailie (24).
A lover of animals, I currently own 2 dogs and 3 house rabbits (subject to change without notice ;)
